Our Mission

Our mission is to provide exceptional veterinary care for livestock animals while fostering professional and equitable relationships with our clients. We strive to break the stereotype of veterinary care equating to inconvenient and expensive emergency calls. Instead, we want to partner with our clients throughout the lifespan of their livestock animals using our relationship-based care model that advocates for regular, low-cost appointments throughout the year.

We believe this approach will not only promote health and wellness with our patients, but it will also improve the financial stress impact of herd ownership for our clients, and even improve the working environment of our veterinarians.

Our Relationship-Based Care Model

At our practice, we’ve structured our customer interactions based upon the AVMA’s Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship model. The VCPR advocates for annual wellness exams as the fundamental basis for herd medical care. During these annual exams, our veterinarians will take notes regarding the size, composition, environment, and overall health of your animals. This information allows our veterinarians to make better-informed decisions and offer more comprehensive advice tailored to you and your herd’s situation.

Establishing a formal relationship with our clinic and scheduling low-cost yearly herd checks allows us to provide you with an expanded list of services.

Better Long-Term Patient Results

By partnering with our veterinarians and scheduling annual herd wellness checks, we have more opportunities to identify potentially serious issues early and give your animals the best chance for success. Avoiding serious issues by preempting them can dramatically improve outcomes while saving you from costly and untimely emergency calls.

On-Call Services

Clients with an existing VCPR receive access to our on-call services enabling us to get your animals the emergency care they need. We think it’s important to have an established VCPR as this will ensure our veterinarians have all relevant information when treating your animals in an emergency situation.

Easy Prescription Refills

Clients with an established VCPR at our practice have the ability to refill medications as required without an additional visit from a veterinarian.

Phone and Text Support

Our office will facilitate any phone and text communications to our veterinarians so they can get you the information you need. We can also facilitate communications with local surgical and ambulatory centers when we have an established relationship and need to refer animals for specialized surgeries or care.
